Fantastic energy powder supplement

Excellent pre-post workout energy drink! Clean taste that makes you feel a pick-me-up. The ingredients are designed for effective absorption, and it seems to be working! Excellent value for the money! Great find!

A clean option but not a strong enough one to make a difference.

As an active caffeine consumer, thid did not pack the punch I was expecting. The powder mixes very well and the scoop size is surprisingly small, but holy cow, the powder itself can stain your hands with how purple it is.The taste wasn't bad at all, it tasted like watered down juice to me, and the after taste was near nonexistent. It did however, turn my tongue, teeth, and lips purple.Id say for those who dont activly consume caffeine, this may work, but anyone who intakes a decent amount per day, this more than likely wont work for you.

Beet power

If I’m being honest, my first impression when I took a sip of this was “yuck.” However, the taste grew on me a bit. It does have a little bit of beet vibes to it. It’s a deep red color as well.I do feel like it gave me a nice energy boost pre and post workout. It was an interesting taste, but I didn’t mind it as much after a little while.

Great taste, great for health

I've been using this product for a few weeks now, and I've enjoyed drinking it, it has a very beet forward taste (I love beets). From a workout standpoint, I really didn't notice any increased energy or pump from the NO, however I do feel like its been a solid addition to take for general health support. I would honestly pivot the target market from being a pre-workout drink and sell it more as an energizing wellness drink, because from an ingredient and taste standpoint, it covers that very well, where not so much as a pre-workout.Overall, I would recommend this to someone who wanted a solid and good tasting wellness drink, I would not recommend it as a caffeine-free pre-workout though.

Flavorful Energy Drink that Help You Recover from a Day

I regularly incorporate beetroot powder into my routine because it effectively boosts my energy and promotes a strong sense of well-being. Its benefits are impressive, making it a powerful addition to any diet. When I saw the offer for the Purpl PWR caffeine-free energy & recovery drink, I decided to order it. This formula is a stimulant-free pre-workout powder designed for athletes and anyone looking to enhance performance without experiencing jitters or sleep disruption. It contains ingredients such as beetroot, tart cherry, blackcurrant, elderberry, decaffeinated green tea extract, L-Citrulline (6g per scoop), L-Theanine (500mg), beta-alanine, and antioxidant-rich berry and citrus powders. The benefits include sustained clean energy, enhanced blood flow and nitric oxide production, support for muscle pump, improved endurance, and faster recovery. My wife says don't take it late in the afternoon, but I do not find that it affects my sleep. The package contains 30 servings; the formula is a plant-based, gluten-free, and vegan option. Simply mix one scoop of the powder with 8-12 ounces of water for perfect results. The beverage boasts a unique flavor profile that evokes the earthy sweetness of beets, complemented by a zesty burst of lemon. As I took my first sip, the robust beet flavor enveloped my palate, dominating the initial experience. However, with each subsequent taste, I began to unravel the subtle layers of flavor hidden beneath. The refreshing notes of green tea emerged, accompanied by a gentle warmth from a hint of black pepper. I prefer it over ice as it enhances the flavors and elevates its character. I also observe that the flavor lingers on your palate long after you've taken a sip. I drink mine over 5 to 10 minutes, and I find the power settles at the bottom of the glass. I use a large swizzle stick to stir it every minute or so.What I really appreciate about this product is that it contains no artificial sweeteners or additives. It not only provides added energy but also helps with recovery after a long day at work or after a workout.

It’s ok!

I’ve tried many pre-workout and energy products, and overall I think PURPL PWR is a good caffeine-free alternative for people who want cleaner energy without jitters or a crash afterward. I really appreciate that it supports energy and recovery naturally, and I did notice a more balanced feeling during workouts and throughout the day.One of the biggest positives for me is that it doesn’t contain caffeine, so I can take it later in the day without affecting my sleep. I also like the ingredients, especially the beet root and nitric oxide support, because it feels like a healthier option compared to many overly stimulated pre-workouts.It mixes fairly well and seems to help with endurance and recovery, especially on active days. The packaging is nice and the product feels high quality overall. The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is mainly because of two things. First, the Berry Beets flavor is honestly not very enjoyable. It has a strong earthy beet aftertaste that took some getting used to, although it tastes better with very cold water or blended into a smoothie.Second, the product we received appeared to be expired. I’m assuming this was probably just an accidental inventory or shipping mistake, because everything else about the product seemed legitimate and well made, but it was still disappointing to notice.Overall, despite the taste and expiration issue, I still think this is a solid caffeine-free energy and recovery supplement with good ingredients and noticeable benefits. Hopefully the company improves quality control because the formula itself has a lot of potential.

Hi Guys! I tried Purpl PWR and will be ordering more. It was a smooth and even experience. Perfect for recovery or to sip through out the day.

I’m not the biggest fan of beets, BUT was pleasantly surprised at its mildness and would like to incorporate their benefits into my daily routine.

You got a fan!

No caffeine, rounded pre work out supplement

The pros:No caffeine- so can take later in the afternoon, evening and it didn't seem to affect sleep.Mixes well with water, or blend into a smoothieCons-Though the berry flavor really tried to hide the beet root flavor, I found that there was an earthy/dirt aftertaste if I just mixed it in water. If I mixed it in a smoothy with berries, it was less noticeable. All in all, this is a decent alternative to the supplements that have caffeine in them (i.e., green tea, if you're going natural flavor)- I didn't find it to be especially "energy boosting", but the health benefits are there.

A beet drink wearing a pre-workout label, priced like a pre-workout

A caffeine-free powdered drink mix built around beet root, sold into the slot a pre-workout would normally fill. The ingredient list is the most interesting thing here and it's refreshingly short: beet root, tart cherry, blackcurrant, elderberry, decaffeinated green tea extract, black pepper, a few berry and lemon powders, rice fiber, and monk fruit for sweetness. No artificial sweeteners and no stimulant, so the timing rules that come with a caffeinated pre-workout don't apply. The label calls the flavor berry. It tastes fine but I don't know if I'd say berry. It doesn't dissolve super well so use a blender bottle and expect a little grit. Overall, I'm a fan. It sits at the premium end of the shelf, so the ingredient list is the reason to consider it.

Good tasting

This caffeine-free energy drink tastes pretty good and give you a nice source of energy without the caffeine jitters. The ingredients offer just what you'd want without any junk you don't need. I'm sensitive to caffeine and that makes it difficult to find energy mixes or drinks that work but don't keep me up at night, so this is a nice alternative option to consider.

Caffeine free energy boost

Nice ingredient list and easy to open package. The mix itself mixes very easily into water. I mix it in a Shaker bottle, but don't even need to use a blender ball or anything like that, so it would also mix into a regular water bottle with no issues I would think. The taste is good, not overly sweet with a good, not overpowering flavor. It is nice to have a non caffeine version of a drink to get a nice energy boost if you are working out in the later stages of the day.I can say that it does give me a little boost, at least more than I would feel from water, or electrolyte powders, so it does work.I've used it several times when I really felt I needed to get over the afternoon or early evening hump to give a boost to get me going to a workout and run errands, and it works great!

Caffeine-free, clean ingredients

Wanted a caffeine free pre workout option for days when I hit the gym in the late afternoon. It gives a decent boost in energy without the need for caffeine, mostly utilizing clean ingredients like green tea extract and beet root powder. If you regularly drink a ton of coffee or take pre with high levels of caffeine this might not work. I get a small energy boost, but still not as substantial as if I were to take a caffeinated pre-workout. It has no artificial ingredients and doesn't have any added sugar. While it's pretty healthy, it honestly doesn't taste the best...but it's tolerable. The berry flavor is inoffensive and it mixes well (doesn't clump). I think it's a little on the higher end for a pre-workout, ~40 dollars for about 30 servings, but you are paying for clean ingredients. Overall, I like it when I workout late and want to sleep at night.

They had me at “no caffeine.”

Finally, a “Pre-Workout” That Doesn’t Feel Like Chemical WarfareSeriously. I’m so tired of workout supplements acting like the goal is to see through time and vibrate through drywall by your third sip. This goes in a much smarter direction. The main player here is clearly beetroot, and honestly, that’s a good call. Beetroot has legitimate research behind it for endurance, circulation, recovery, and nitric oxide support. This isn’t just marketing glitter sprinkled over flavored dust. The rest of the formula mostly seems to support the overall flavor and recovery angle rather than pretending to be a miracle potion, which I actually appreciate. The end result is something that tastes good enough to drink consistently without feeling like punishment.Flavor-wise, it’s berry-forward and surprisingly approachable considering how much beetroot is packed in here. No overwhelming dirt flavor, no weird grassy bitterness, and no “health drink” suffering ritual required. That said: this stuff is loaded with beetroot. At 2500mg per serving, they were not messing around. That’s great for performance support, but if you become one of those people dry scooping this three times a day like it’s sacred nectar from the gym gods, maybe pump the brakes a little. Beetroot is naturally high in oxalates, and too much over time can contribute to kidney stones in some people.Normal use? Totally fine. Just don’t decide this is your new primary beverage source. Also worth mentioning: this powder stains everything. Countertops. Shakers. Probably small household pets if you move too quickly while mixing it.Price is definitely on the premium side at around $40 for 30 servings, but at least the formula feels substantial enough to justify some of that cost.No jitters. No crash. No feeling like your heart is trying to escape your rib cage. Just a solid stimulant-free performance drink that actually makes sense.

Great supplement but taste could have been better.

I’ve been using this as a pre-workout alternative and overall I’m pretty happy with it. The biggest plus is that it gives me noticeable energy for workouts without the jitters or crash that usually comes with caffeine-based pre-workouts. I also like that it’s caffeine-free, especially for evening workouts. The taste honestly isn’t the greatest — the berry flavor has a bit of an earthy aftertaste from the beet root — but it’s definitely drinkable. Even though the flavor could be better, I can absolutely feel more energized and focused during workouts, which makes it worth it for me. Good option if you want cleaner energy without stimulants.

Clean energy without the crash

I’ve been using this caffeine-free energy and recovery drink powder, and it’s quickly become a reliable pre-workout boost for me. The berry flavor is refreshing and not overly sweet, and I like that it relies on beet root and nitric‑oxide–supporting ingredients for a natural lift. I get a smooth, steady energy that helps me power through workouts without jitters or a crash, and it mixes well without leaving grit at the bottom of the cup.If I could change one thing, I’d make the flavor a bit stronger. It isn’t bad at all, but a little more natural berry intensity would make it even better. Still, for a clean pre‑workout alternative with no stimulants, it fits easily into my routine and feels great on days when I want energy without caffeine.Fun fact: Beet root contains natural nitrates that help your body boost nitric oxide levels, which can support better circulation and endurance.

Good taste but no energy or focus boost for me

The TLDR is: taste is ok/good, not too sweet. But no noticeable energy/focus increase for me.Taste - The taste is in the ok to good range. I wouldn't say I really like it, but it isn't offensive or bad. I was worried about that with the combination of berries/etc. I feel like it is maybe "beet" heavy on the flavor but again, it isn't bad (and I don't like beets).I tried this with water in a shaker and also in a protein shake. It dissolved well with water and mixed well with the protein shake. I'll just say on the shake be careful what you mix it with. I use soy milk and some strawberries/banana/blackberries with unflavored protein and it was fine.As far as any energy boost - I drop a star here - As much as I was hoping for an all natural energy boost I didn't get one. I work out in the morning and as a pre-workout they suggest taking it 90 minutes before a workout - which I can't do - so it was a post workout drink for me. I did not notice any energy or focus increase over other days. I am a coffee drinker so maybe I am less sensitive to the energy components in this than others? They make many claims that I'm not sure there is any scientific evidence for as far as this providing enhanced endurance and faster recovery - I didn't notice and can't speak to that as I didn't have those effects. Now I do like the health benefits of anti-oxidants/etc and I'm sure the mixture here would provide some great nutrition and antioxidant benefits. Obviously that sort of thing is internal and not necessarily a noticeable thing.Another reviewer stated they received expired products - The date on the bag is the manufacture date, not the expiration. Mine was the same date and I had no consistency or clumping issues.Value - This is another big area where I drop another star. This is about $1.30 per serving. I expect a benefit that I can feel for that price. There are options much cheaper that actually provide a energy boost. If you take pre-workouts you will be very underwhelmed with this product.I wish it worked better - I do like all natural, no sugar supplements, but I can't say I'd recommend it for a pre-workout or energy boost. If you have the funds and like the all natural ingredients and want the other benefits, and have the disposable income, then go for it.

Just what I needed! I have a busy schedule with odd hours but requires me to be alert and focused! Purpl Pwr gave me more energy than expected but without the crash most energy boosters give you. And I feel healthier knowing I’m supporting my body in a clean way vs preservatives and added sugars.

Really enjoyed this supplement. I end up drinking it as a treat when I get tired of water or I've been too anxious from too much coffee. I like the taste of it in my smoothies as well, so def try that as an add on if you like. As for the energy boost, it def gives me the stable boost I need.
